OUR MISSION
Our sanctuary is at risk — and we need your help. The land we’ve lovingly built Polesworth Donkey Sanctuary on is being sold, and unless we raise the funds to buy it, we may lose everything.
This isn’t just land (Martin Newbold) — it’s home to our rescued donkeys, goats, ponies, and more. It’s a peaceful, healing space for SEN children, local schools, special needs groups, and people struggling with their mental health.
We’ve funded everything ourselves until now — through events, donations, and pure hard work. But now, we need our community to come together like never before.
💛 We’re not just trying to stay — we’re trying to grow.
With your support, we also hope to build classrooms and create more safe, welcoming spaces where children and adults can learn, heal, and connect with nature.

The Polesworth Donkey Sanctuary has lots on offer for a fun filled family day out.
Come visit and feed our donkeys and other farm animals. We even have grooming and animal walk packages available to book!
You can also grab a bite to eat during your visit! The Donkey Diner is open with a menu that offers lots of choice including kids meals, snacks, and hot and cold food and drinks!
Donate to support our rescues
The donkeys and other animals at The Polesworth Donkey Sanctuary rely solely on donations so they can receive the love and care they deserve. Every donation received goes towards the continuous care of our animals, supporting their home, food and all the many essential services a livestock animal needs to live a healthy life.
