Imagine being stuck in a small, dark shed.  There's a half a dozen of you, barely any room to move.  It's so upsetting that you start to lose your hair from the stress of it all.  

Or imagine that you are meant to be someone's companion and friend, only to be repeatedly hit and hurt.

These are just a few of our rescued donkey's stories; unfortunately, there are many more for the rest of the animals that we have provided a safe home for at our rescue sanctuary.

The donkeys and other animals at The Polesworth Donkey Sanctuary rely solely on donations so they can receive the love and care they deserve. Every donation received goes towards the continuous care of our animals, supporting their home, food and all the many essential services  a livestock animal needs to live a healthy life.
